REFUND POLICY: SERVICES
Dirt Legal strives to provide the best possible quality in everything we do. If you are not satisfied with a Product or Service you have received, please do not hesitate to let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.
If you have purchased a service from us within the last 24 hours and we have not performed any services such as preparing and mailing out documents, VIN checks, or issuing a temporary tag, you can request a full refund.
If we cannot complete the service that you have purchased and you have provided all of the requested documents, and if the vehicle has no liens (unless you are the one financing it) or active thefts, we will issue you a FULL REFUND. However, if we are still able to complete the service, even if it falls outside of our general timeframes, we will not be able to provide a full refund.
Since we begin working immediately, all refund requests submitted over 24 hours after the order was placed will be subject to a $50 service fee for registration and titling services.
We cannot issue refunds for completed Services (i.e., you ordered a VIN Check and it has been provided). Examples include VIN Checks, Temporary Tags, and Golf Cart Services.
If services have already been performed or received prior to your refund request, your case will be reviewed and a refund amount will be determined.
For registration services, if your vehicle is financed through Synchrony bank and you DO NOT have the title or MCO, we WILL NOT be able to register your vehicle and we will provide a refund minus $35 for time spent verifying your order.
You can cancel a service at any time before sending us your vehicle’s documents (such as your title or MSO). Once we receive your documents, they will be sent to the DMV immediately and we will no longer be able to refund or cancel your order.
For our registration and titling services, once your order is placed, you will have 60 days to send us your paperwork in the envelope that we provide to you. If you do not send your paperwork to us within 60 days, you can still cancel your order but you will no longer be eligible for a refund. Contact us to extend this timeframe. After 60 days, we can offer store credit which can be used for any of our services and is fully transferable to another person.
We are unable to honor refund requests for the following cases:
•If you do not send us your paperwork within 60 days for a registration or title service
•If you have received any vehicle documents from us (including a VIN Check, Temporary Tag, Registration, and/or Title)
•If your service has been completed
If you do not send your paperwork to us within 60 days, your order will be considered overdue. In addition to being ineligible for a refund, your order may be subject to additional charges if the DMV changes its requirements or process while your order is overdue. We may contact you periodically as a reminder of this. If you need more time, please contact us.
